Trimco Group, a global supplier of branding, traceability, and compliance solutions for international apparel brands and retailers, has announced the appointment of Ricardo Lobo as its incoming new Group CEO. Lobo will lead the company and spearhead its growth strategy.

Trimco now has a truly global supply chain capability. It has completed three major acquisitions in North America, too. The company has since expanded its footprint into Africa and Latin America. Meanwhile, Trimco will continue to invest in new products such as ProductDNA, RFID and sustainable Hangers.

Lobo also brings extensive global experience in the brand identity space to Trimco. He most recently served as CEO at Beontag. There, he transformed the business from a regional player to a global champion in smart labels and RFID solutions.

Wan adds, “It has been an incredible journey leading Trimco through a period of transformation and global expansion. As I transition into the role of chief product officer, I remain committed to advancing our innovation agenda in delivering world class products.”

Lobo says, “I am delighted to join the exceptional team at Trimco. Trimco is an Asian success story: a regional champion that is now a global player, with a presence in 27 countries. Trimco has a strong foundation steeped in innovation, collaboration and customer focus, and we will continue to deliver exceptional value and service to our customers.”

In 2022, Brookfield acquired Trimco Group. In addition, Brookfield will drive Trimco’s long-term growth and success as a strategic partner.
